We stay mainly in public campgrounds during the summer without reservations and recently went from a 42’ to a 45’ MH. Only once in 17 years has this not worked out for us as we know better than to go in on Friday hoping to find a site long enough. Last summer I made sure we arrived at our favorite small USFS CG outside of Rocky Mountain on Thursday at 9 AM… By noon there were no sites available. It was our first night in Colorado as normally we arrive late Sunday or Monday to get a site.
