50 amp replacement plug?

I have a 2010 Montana, not that matters but the male end of my 50 amp plug has pulled away from the plug and now I am having a power problem. Can I just go to lowes and get a replacement plug or to a dealer to get one?Next what are the colors of wires and which pin do they hook up to?I assume they are color coded or standard so if anyone has a diagram of how to wire in the male replacement plug that would save me a little change as a whole cord replacement is well over $100.Thanks for any help

Yup, for a 50 dollar bill you could probably buy that $15 plug just about anywhere. :B
  • Any electrical supply store will have the replacement plug.
  • An rv dealer should have the plug.

Amazon sells the Camco male 50 amp 55255 for $15.50 and the female Camco 50 amp 55353 for $15.28 so you will have a price range.

    U shaped, ground, green
    opposite ground, is neutral, white.
the other two go to the other two.
  • If you do not find what you want locally, try:

    Tweety's
    West Marine
    Marineco
  • If the old plug is still attached, just wire a replacement in the same pattern as the original.
