50Amp Power Cord
I have a new Jayco 30.5CKTS and the 50 amp cable does not have an attached storage reel like my 2013 Alpine had. Does anyone have a method of spooling it for storage? 30' of 50 amp cable is rather cum...

My reasons are twofold. (1) When coiled up, it took up a lot of space and was always laying on top of other stuff I needed to get to, and (2) it was hard on the back to reach in (over the other gear that I needed just inside the door) and lift it out. Same thing when putting it back in.
I mounted the reel just inside the door, all the way to the right. Since it takes up very little floor space (about 1 sq. ft.), I only needed to make a small adjustment to the location of the other gear that I also kept just inside the door.The laundry basket idea is a good one too; however, it will take up more floor space than the reel I bought.
