5ers and tailgates
I see quite a few pickups with the louvered tailgates and the notch that lets the kingpin through. Do these improve gas mileage when you aren't towing?

Bought one for the old truck when we first got our 5th wheel.
When I bought the new truck, didn't even consider getting one.
Just didn't see the need since I very rarely hitched or unhitched without putting down the tailgate first.
