I'm confused, a couple of days you posted about being worried about being 3 feet too long with another setup. Why aren't you concerned about breaking laws with this setup? Not trying to start an argument, just curious.
I'll admit I've been noodling about a variety of ways of putting the rig together. I suspect the "other configuration" you're referring to would have had me 3 feet too long with no way to make it legal if I got stopped. IE: Long truck + Long trailer = screwed if stopped. This configuration, while probably longer lets me say "sorry officer", disconnect, and drive away legal...
