I am the one possibly risking my drivetrain by starting with taller gears. But not any less safe than the 4:10 MaxTow Dually.
So ratings IMHO should be taken with a grain of salt.
Just to correct a statement here, but there is a lot more different than gear ratio between the 2011 Ram the 2013 Ram. The 13 has a whole new frame under it, different front end, axles, etc.

I was comparing mine to a HO 11 or 12.
Never know I may end up with a 14 later this fall.
