I have one simple statement....DO NOT do it.
One issue is the short bed, and the biggest issue will be the pin weight. A 5er will have a pin weight that will be around 20% of the trailer GVWWR. So, a 10,000LB 5er will have a loaded pin weight of 2000 LB. Add in the passengers, the hitch and cargo in the bed, you will be over the truck's payload capacity or cargo capacity.
