5th wheel bunkhouse 36ft or under?

Thanks for the replies so far! We are fascinated by the new mid-bunk floorplans but those are huge too! We did see a Crossroads Cruiser one online that has an excellent floorplan but it's 39'10"....kinda big. I guess if we could stay under 40' that would be doable, but the big 42-45 footers just seem huge. I know it's only another 2-5ft, but that seems to be quite a difference when talking about campsite lengths. Has anyone had issues getting into public campgrounds with big rigs? Most of the campgrounds in the Black Hills will accept rigs up to 40ft but bigger than that will be a huge challenge. Even at 40' it's going to prevent us from going to some of our favorite Forest Service campgrounds.
