5th wheel cover

I want to purchase a 5th wheel cover for my 5th wheel. It is a 1999 27.5ft 5th wheel bunk model. During the winter and spring months here where i am its a lot of wear and tear on the trailer. Snow and rain constanly melting going in every crevise and crack and the freezing daily, especially when we get our chinooks.

So lookin for people that actually owned one and what they though of them and how long do or should they last?

I am going on vacation in through the states and would like to buy down there as it will be chaeper than Canada.

Would also like to buy in Seattle if possible. No sales tax and near the end of my vacation so i dont have to keep tripping over the box on my vacation.

Thanks all.
  • Anybody know any other brick and mortar stores that sell the brand Adco Tyvek? All I can find is online only stores and want to pick up locally while I am down in the US.
  • Interested in cover option for my 5er as well here in Canada
  • Tacoma is on the way from Astoria to Seattle. Camping world is next to I5. You should measure your Rv and call campingworld tacoma to see if they have what you want. There is also a CW in Burlington north of Seattle on I5. Enjoy Astoria and don't miss Cannon beach. May see you there!
  • No Good Sam up here eaither. I checked online they have a really good internet price but no shipping to Canada, plus the shipping would kill me.

At least i know that you brand you bought is a good brand and look for it at other places too, wonder if US walmart sells Adco Tyvek, our Walmart up here doesnt sell half the stuff you US people get down there.

Do you have to be a memeber at CW?

Dont have any of those up here and are they every where?

Do you remember what you paid for it?

    Thanks!

If you are a member of Good Sam you should be able to get the discount at Campingworld. I believe this to be true, but much has changed in the last few years. I paid less than $300 for mine, which is a universal size. I got one larger than my unit. You could also order from their website, if that works for you. By searching 'rv covers' on the Web, you will also find other sellers, and may get a better price. CW always runs a sale on covers in the fall.
  • I see they have one in Tacoma wa and not Seattle, i imagine i would go through Tacoma on my way to Seattle from Astoria.

  • Next year will be my 6th using my Adco Tyvek cover. I bought it at CW, and have been very happy with it. Tyvek has the extra vinyl layer on the roof which I believe helps to repel water. Put on and take off by myself.
