Shoot, we had to buy a new hitch when switching from a 2015 to a 2017, so that sucked! But, the new system is really nice, and getting the hitch in and out is very easy and we have full use of the bed when it's not in, which is awesome for people like us who are nice weather vacationer campers.
PS, we were able to sell our old hitch locally for a really good price via Facebook Marketplace.
