I am sure some hate the rails, I have had them , read enough to realize that. I guess there are good reasons I never gave them a thought, those ,or the adapter. If I want a clean bed now , no problem, but as said I don't need the adapter out. My truck is not a sheetrock, plywood hauling truck :B
