- gjwarnekeExplorerx2 as turner66 said. We also have triple axle...glad we did a test at home first. (our 5ver is not a TH...don't see a lot of reg. 5vers these days that have 3ax)
We carry 2-12 ton bottle jacks and blocks. - powderman426ExplorerAssuming your fiver is a dual axle as most are, two or three pieces of 2 x 6 to drive the good wheel up on will lift the flat tire in most cases. Also consider ERS.
- turner66ExplorerJust a note of warning. Test your jacking process at home at least once. You may realize some "gotchas" that you need to account for. For example, on my tri-axle, the Lippert Equa-flex Trailair suspension articulates so much that it is very difficult to lift one wheel (jack wants to kick out from suspension movement as it lifts). And, each wheel acts differently when jacked. You may find you need to bridge 2 axles with a beam, or use multiple jacks, or blocking, etc.
- BuckleupExplorerThanks to all for the good replies! We hope to be full Timers next year and are learning a lot from you good folks on this site! Thank you.
- jasultExplorerI carry a low profile shorty 12 ton bottle jack as well as standard 12 ton bottle jack.
The reason for the shorty is if i had a flat sometimes standard jack is to tall to get under anything. Both jacks are under the bed along with my spare parts warehouse :B - jnharleyExplorerFor us, Big Foot leveling system. Will take all 4 tires off the ground. Before that we carried a floor jack and some jack stands.
- Re_and_CherylExplorerThe OEM jack for my 2500 Chevy will work for the camper. I just carry an extra lug wrench as the camper lug nuts are different size than my trucks.

x2 ^ 12 ton bottle jack for me too. One time my landing gear failed in the front. The bottle jack allowed me to jack up the side that failed so I could unhitch and chase parts. - rhagfoExplorer IIII carry a 12 ton bottle jack in the tool box in the bed.
