One of the weak spots on a 5th wheel is tire blowouts. When looking at used 5th wheels look at the brands on all the tires. If they are not the same9all different brands) you know this rig has the problem. I had a 30 ft fiver that had 15 inch wheels and had the problem. My present rig is also 30 ft but has 16 inch wheels rated 80 lbs.( and I keep them at 80 lbs) and no problem.
