5th wheel tires

Here's what I know for sure. Maaxis for three years and 0 problems.

Agreed - It may not even be an option if OP has 15" wheels. Mine (similar weight) came with 15" and the highest rated I could find are E. Not that I wanted higher than E - I was just curious. A good quality E rated tire is plenty for an 11K 5th wheel.

I guess the ENDURANCE "nay-sayers" have decided 3 full years on the market has proven these tires to be worthy as they seem to be silent now.

Do a search for "ENDURANCE tire failure". You won't fine any that are not road hazard.

With 33" axle spacing, I would suggest the GY Endurance in your current size, or the Bridgestone R238 in a 245-75-16.
I have not seen an unmounted Endurance, but I had Duravis 250's before, and they are a heavy steel tire.

My 5th is similar weight and my research came up with Carlisle or GY Endurance. Weight wise check your rims and if they are good for 80psi you should be good with E rated at about 2800# each. Mine stock came with D rated 2580 each stock which is cutting it a bit close IMO. The E rated also have a higher speed rating which was nice. Not that I really go over 65 but it's nice to know I'm not right up against the rating.

Wow, apparently my China-made Sailun tires never got the memo. Six years 20,000+ miles, and still look and ride great. Couldn't be happier, and cost about 60% less than some other brands. Win, win.

Two years after purchasing my Jayco Eagle FW, I up sized the wheels from 15 - 16" to run Light truck tires. I ran BFGoodrich Commercial TA's, load range E for the past eight years. Had a blow out in September and purchased a new set of Goodyear Endurance trailer tires. I have put 6,000 miles on the new tires and have not had any issues. I believe the tire failure was due to leaking metal valve stems and extremely hot weather. Happy with both of my tire selections to date and agree to stay away from the cheap china tires if at all possible, if it's within your budget.

If by wet you mean loaded for travel then the Michelin XPS Ribs are great tires for lighter weight trailers. For that weight you should have something in the range of 9,000 lbs on the tires. The Goodyear Endurance ST is a relatively new tire that seems to get good reviews. I believe it is an 80 psi tire.

A less expensive alternative to the XPs are the Bridgestone Duravis R238. For only 12k lbs, a G tire is a bit of overkill, IMO.

G rated tires on a 11,700# trailer? Talk about massive overkill. My trailer has an 11,500" GVWR and could have been optioned with passenger tires. I tow with 16" LRE tires and have around a 50% safety margin while towing at approximately 10,500#. I towed with Towmax tires (China bombs) for four seasons with zero issues. I'm currently running Goodyear Endurance. The tires tow the same, longevity and speed ratings are the only criteria I used.
