Personally I think they put unnecessary stress on the 5th wheel frame but that's just how I feel. My BIL has pulled a 31' bunkhouse with one and pulled a boat behind the 5th wheel for several years with no issues I know of. But it's a short 5th wheel with no slides, and that may make a difference.
Thanks Howard! I emailed the sales guy I've been working with to get the advice from his service department and the Jayco Rep to see if the Ranch Coupler Adapter will put too much stress on the frame or if it'll support it. I see a lot of good reviews on etrailer and Amazon for this setup but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.
