I went from a TT to a 5er. I was pretty good backing the bumper pull and struggled with getting the correct line with the fifth wheel. I saw some advise on this forum that was if you are going the wrong direction backing a 5er pull forward and change your line as the fifth wheel responds too slowly to correct. This has worked very well for me and has made backing almost something I look forward to (but not totally).
