In my experience, I can say that it isn't easier, more difficult or anything like that. I can tell you it is different. I have pulled enclosed bumper pull trailers for years. Went to a gooseneck and it is the same principle, just a little different when backing and turning. Now have the 5er, same thing. Once you go from a bumper pull to a GN or fifth wheel hitch, you won't go back. They pull so much nicer and they don't move like a bumper pull. The hitch and the weight are over the rear axle of the truck, now the wind, etc. has to move all of it, not just a trailer connected at the bumper. Just takes seat time and practice to get used to a bed hitched trailer.
