5th Wheel w/outdoor kitchens

We use the outdoor kitchen for storing the grill tools and spices and things like that. Use the sink for washing up. And I have the bigger dorm fridge to keep all of my beer, with that I really don't need to bring a cooler (I can get a lot of beer in there). The stove that came with it is a Coleman but its junk. So we really don't "cook" in the outdoor kitchen but we use it more for cooking on the grill, but we always cook on the grill anyway. I do enjoy having the kitchen, its very handy to have the sink and storage outside, oh yea the fridge to MMMMMMM beer. And there is TV hookups in there so I can use my outside TV.

Does anyone use a 4K watt propane generator? They're relatively inexpensive and propane seems more logical than carrying gasoline, especially if you have a diesel truck.

My unit doesn't have an outdoor kitchen or even a grill for that matter. I can see where that setup would minimize the greasy patina that covers everything near the stove when frying indoors. If I let it go too long it becomes a real pain to remove all the grease....:R

Big thanks to all who reponded. I've been a mod on a BVI Sailing forum for a dozen years so I know what it's like to meet helpful people offering good solid advice.
We're going to work a couple more years and then hit the road full time if all goes to plan. I'm 74 now.. she 69 this summer but I still need to get her out of rehab after surgery for a smashed L1.
As with forums of this nature I look forward to meeting some of you one day soon. I've sailed all over the east and gulf coasts and most of the Caribbean but land excursions with an RV is all new. I know I'll be asking a ton of questions.

We purchased the one below in January. We bought this one because its one of the VERY few with an outdoor kitchen and NO bunkhouse. Also is not white in color like everyone else's. ;)

Almost all the manufacturers make outdoor kitchen units. Just google outdoor kitchen floorplan RVs and you will get at least one from the different manufacturers. Most of them do come with the bunkhouse units, if that makes a difference to you.

Both our Sandpipers have had the outdoor kitchens. That and the size of the bunk room is why we bought them. I absolutely love the outdoor kitchen as I do most of the cooking outside. The Sandpiper and Sierra units are the same units, just different colors. We also have a Onan 5500 propane generator for those times when we need it.

Check out the Heartland RVs line.. they have several. Sundance line has a couple. And I think some in one of the other lines also. And Heartland customer service is great.
