Just renewed for year #2.... $725.88. Seems steep , but what's a miser like me 'sposed to do... ??? So, how goes the State pick-pocket in yer' neck-o-the-woods ??? there's a tear in my beer.....

April 5th I picked up a new 5er and paid $2500 sales tax. April 29th I registered the new 5er and the TV and paid $2200.00 excise tax. That is a total of $4700.00 taxes paid in the month of April. Ouch. We do get some of our pot holes filled, usually around the end of November thru the first of April. Frozen water is less expensive during the cooler months.
