I've pulled GN and 5th wheel flatbed trailers for a living some years ago from a loading yard to a rough construction work site so I understand your need for a GN hitch preference over the 5th wheel hitch. The 5th wheel hitch simply does not will not pivot as much as a GN ball.
Again thanks for sharing. IMO most folks learned something from your experience.
