...nobody? Hello naysayers!!! There's gotta be someone with factual proof goose neck adapters are bad for fifth wheels...or are those that are anti goose neck just afraid of new technology?
Good thing most agreed "cooked" meat was better than raw...(back when Fred Flinstone discovered fire) think how well our TV and RVs would travel on "square" instead of rouns wheels eh? :W
Don't understand most of your "illustrations", doesn't make much sense to me, but asking someone to just make a phone call to the manufacturer on their take on what hitch they recommend doesn't seem all that "radical" to me....or even archaic for that matter....
I also NEVER said it was "bad" to use a GN instead of a 5er hitch, Nor am I "anti-GN, whatever that mean. I simply stated it wasn't recommended by some 5er manufacturers to use a GN to tow their 5er's with, (that too is a fact, not something I "made up),....That would be good enough for me, especially if the 5er was still under warranty and for no more than it cost to make a phone call and for as much as we pay for some of these 5er's, what's the big deal to make a call to the people who manufacture the 5th wheel and get THEIR take on it...after all, they are the designer and manufacturer of the 5er...I'm only stating What some 5er manufacturers state , nothing more, nothing less..and all it cost is a phone call to the manufacturer to tell someone, "yes it's ok to tow our 5er with a GN", or "no, we don't recommend it" AND, if it's NOT recommended, why would I go out of my way to "possibly" cause some damage to my 5er??? oh, HR recommended to NOT use a GN to tow my 5er with, if I did, and something happened to frame, weldment around pinbox or delam or cracking of sidewall, might not be covered under warranty...I wasn't going to take that chance....What's the big deal that?:h
