My new 5th wheel has the 6 point leveling system, I don't have a remote switch up front to lower the landing gear, though i would like to have one. Even reading the instructions i have trouble some times. I do know that the system does lower the front first then continues leveling the other jacks about 5 or 6 times till its level when using the auto level button. If your up off the hitch and pulled away from the trailer i cant see how you could have pushed any buttons till you returned to hit the auto level. I know some have a remote control. The first time we used the auto level button it scared us to death. The front dipped down really fast and i thought i blew it. then it leveled. I was relieved. There should be a manuel method of leveling if you need to.
