First 2 things I did when I brought my new RV home years ago, switched from 15" ST tires to 16" LT tires and took out the 1 12V and put in 2 6V's.
I did that when I had 90 miles on the camper. LOL
and that was better than just getting one more 12 v battery? unless you had another use for that first battery, you wasted a bunch of money.

That wasn't what my buddies are saying at 4am trying to jump start their trailer to get their heater going.....
If you did any sort of dry camping, you would understand why we do it.
