72 inch Hide a bed replacement

Question

Time to replace the original 72" HAB. I called the manufacturer(Hi Lo)and asked about having this one recover.  I was told it would cost as much to recover it as it would to build a new one.  Several years ago we had the "bed" removed and added storage boxes.  Who has replaced their HAB with a standard couch or love seat?  Were you able to get it thru the 26 inch door opening?

Take a look at Lazy Boy.  I think they have love seats and sofas that the backs come off so you could get it through the door.  Most  if not all of their recliners are like that.  Lazy Boy is a bit pricey but you should be able to order the sofa or love seat in the fabric of your choice.
