I do not agree about it not being B&W's fault.

I see it as a very poor design and when I was looking for a hitch I saw this as being a poor engineering design and decided to go with a hitch that connects all four support points to the frame.

Also GM is not the only bed that has this problem.

The newer B&W hitches that connect to the puck system is probably one of the best hitches available today. Plus they are made in the USA which to me is a big thing.
