I have had B&W turnover gooseneck hitches in my last four trucks. They are great.
However I did not order a B&W Companion for several reasons. One the fact that it takes up most of the bed so there is no room for a genny. Second as some have mentioned I don't care for the way it pushes against the bed. Even with the rubber pads underneath you could still damage the bed due to the small surface area that is contacting the bed. I think a large steel plate underneath the hitch would spread the load out over more of the bed. Third B&W doesn't have an automatic slider.
I ordered the Pullrite Slider hitch and the Superrails that will fit into my B&W hitch hole.
