This statement is for liability purposes. The Blue Ox is very stable. It will work more than once.
If you want to be really anal and by the book and replace it. Personally I would not.
Nevertheless if the Blue Ox saves you from a catastrophic drop it will be well worth the $250.00 price tag to replace it.
Fiver overhangs and pick up beds are not cheap to fix and they don't smash into each other very well
