Sure you can, a B&W companion and a TrailAir for the kingpin. ;)
I have the B&W Patriot and a TrailAir triglide.. no problems.. easy to see if it is latched properly, and has the same detail as the Companion. the handle will be impossible to get into locked position if the latch isn't right.
This is the first and only 5er I've ever towed, so I can't comment on the difference but I can say that the TrailAir TriGlide certainly seems to be doing what it's designed to do. I can watch it in the rearview mirror going up and down as I travel down the road, and I don't feel a thing. Only with major dips in the road (such as the end of an overpass or bridge where it meets the blacktop) do I feel the 5er chucking.
