Yep, I did it once. Ironically, I was doing a tug test with the landing gear too far up. Double irony, I was taking the fiver on the shortest trip ever. 50 feet or so to get it away from the side of the garage in preps for Superstorm Sandy.
I now double check my hitch before and after doing a tug test and only raise my landing gear no more than 3 inches until I have tug tested.
I was pretty lucky. It divited the bed rails but did not damage the fiver.
