This is the first and only 5er I've ever towed, so I can't comment on the difference but I can say that the TrailAir TriGlide certainly seems to be doing what it's designed to do. I can watch it in the rearview mirror going up and down as I travel down the road, and I don't feel a thing. Only with major dips in the road (such as the end of an overpass or bridge where it meets the blacktop) do I feel the 5er chucking.
also my first. a couple friends have added air connections from their onboard Viair air tanks to provide remote control of the TrailAir bag.
I have a adjusted mine while on the road for different ride characteristics with a cig lighter air pump.
