I am trying to find an after market add-a-room for the ramp of my KZ17 toy hauler. I need something that will seal to the main cargo area and ramp so that it will be bug proof and also offer screened walls for nice weather with some sort of ability to attach or fold down a solid cover for when the weather turns nasty. The only thing I can find is a product by Dometic that offers screen walls only. Any suggestions?

The Dometic add-a-room has zip up wall panels included, unless they've downgraded it.That said.... I didn't like the way it sealed to the trailer, and the fabric was thinner than a cheap Kmart tent. I did not trust it to keep weather out.This time around I may try an awning room from TheBusDepot. I still don't even have an ETA on my build though, so it'll be at least a month before I can try anything out.

Unless you get it through the TH manufacturer, you'll probably need to have something fabricated.I've seen everything used from EZ-UP awnings with screen side panels to family sized tents with a fabricated canvas collar leading into the TH.At some of the larger flea markets/ swap meets there usually are a couple of vendors that supply the other swapmeet vendors with poles, coverings and parts for the canopies used in the selling spots.The canopies can be custom sized to meet your needs. You might look for one of these vendors or someone on line that supplies for outdoor events.They could build something to your specifications that is easy to put up and take down.

OutBack Awning and Add A Room was sold by Carefree of Colorado. I haven't seen them advertise for a while. Not sure they make them or sell them still.

Camping World has one.

There is a fold out/up rail system attached to the TH. Zip up the sides and enjoy, grand kids love THEIR space when camping out.

I modified mine, I added a couple gromments to each side that hangs down past the ramp door. Then gots some HD bungy cords and streched the bottom edges under the door, stopped the bugs and the bellowing when wind gusts pop up etc.

My ramp door will close with the screened room attached, on my CF.

I have looked at the Carefree of Colorado website and all I can see is add-a-rooms that attach to the side awning. How do you set this up on the back ramp?
