I do carry 2 5gal jugs. It helps, 10 gallons will most time get us to a place where fuel is cheaper or back home. But they are messy, and can be pain to deal with. At some point I will install a auxiliary tank of at least 40 gallons. If I save a little on fuel great, but the main reason would just be convenience.
