I agree, it's time for a road trip. We just did this two days ago but only had a 1 hour drive. The line we are looking at and have seen two models at my local dealer (3 miles away) doesn't have the model we want, but can get it from the factory mid Sept. This is a dealer who has a good reputation on sales but really earned my loyalty with its service. There sale approach is one of the best I've had as well.
I just couldn't pull the plug sight unseen, so off to the dealer who had one. There is nothing that beats being in one and seeing it first hand as we didn't like the floor plan. This dealer had a center island plan we didn't think we would like, but like it a lot. The salesman met us 90 minutes before their normal opening time on Sunday and didn't follow us like a puppy dog.
Both dealers are ones I would but from so yesterday I went back to my local dealer to see about his ability to get at he center island plan. Competition is good so not playing one against the other we will now be comparing price of the two.
