I live in AZ and like you could not find the model I wanted locally. I found one similar in Prescott and took a look. I then found the model I wanted in Las Vegas. Negotiated a deal thru phone and email and made a weekend trip.
The Vegas dealer did not charge tax and registration fees. They provided a temporary transport plate. They mailed the title to the AZ DMV of my choice. I then went to that DMV, paid AZ sales taxes and registration and received my plate and tags.
There is one, ONE, KZ dealer in AZ, with a location in Mesa and another one in Flagstaff. Between the 2, they have ONE KZ in stock. When a mfr won't list dealers outside about 250 miles, there's one dealer in an entire STATE and they won't return your calls, it's hard to get a warm fuzzy about dealing with that mfr. Personally, I don't have a problem traveling to see, or buy, an RV, though I'd really hope to buy locally.

This is what I'm running into. Frustrating.
If I get time tomorrow, I'll call KZ again, and see if I can get an update. Might not hurt if you call, too. Let them know that there are potential customers here that they're in danger of losing.
