If anything, I would say the airbags would make the ride worse. I've added them to get the ride height back to normal, but no improvement in comfort.
At least for mine, the Air Lift bags have a travel limit. The bags will bottom out about 2 inches before the actual spring does, so part of the installation is to install extensions behind the jounce bouncers to limit the spring travel and prevent damaging the air bags. Some brands put the jounce bouncer inside the air bag. When you hit that bouncer, you feel it, and it can happen even with residual air in the bags.
I realize you just got the Mor-Ryde, but I am super impressed with the Trailair Tri-Glide pin box that came with my trailer. I've had the 5th Airborne on the last, but this one really smooths out the edges.
