Air conditioner compressor runs with no fan

With the thermostat set for air condition auto. The temperature in the coach achieves the temperature on the thermostat, the air conditioner compressor then continues to run but the fan shuts down. Anybody know what is going on here. Thanks in advance.

    Yes I am sure that it is the compressor. It is not a Dometic.

    If Dometic, this is normal. Fan in auto shuts down fan for a few seconds to change fan speed. As rig temp gets closer to set point the fan will change over from high speed to low speed and stop for a few seconds during this changeover. All normal.
