Air lift recommendations

I am looking to add air bags to my 2014 F250 CC 4x4 diesel tow vehicle and am looking for feedback on what others have used. We are towing a 2015 Grand Design Reflections which is definitely within the weight limit of the truck but am looking to take the rear sag out. There seems to be many options out there...are some better than others? My truck has the upfitter switches...has anyone used these for powering/controlling these types of systems? I see some with single gauge and some with dual gauges...what is the difference?

  • We have exactly the same truck, except 4X2. We are using the Air Lift 5000. It came well recommended by the installer and is what he on his personal vehicle which is an F250 2011 diesel. When I asked about Airlift 5000 ultimate, he talked me out of it. Works well and does exactly what you want.

Does your truck sit level when hitched? The truck is supposed to "SAG" with the max or close to it load.

The problem I see is people "think" they need to have the truck sit the same loaded or not. Then when raising the rear loaded the RV will sit nose high and then the rear tires on RV can be overloaded.

Not saying you are doing these things. But I ask you does the truck perform well hitched and is it sitting level with the load?

If you are lower in the rear then I will bet you are over your rear axle rating.
