- routemasterExplorerI just installed a set of airbags on my 3500LTZ I bought them at JET on line.
- djousmaExplorerI was on vacation last summer, and ordered Timbrens delivered to the campground. I had the ford dealer install them, they charged me $50. Had I been at home with tools, would have done it myself.
that said, they made all the difference in the world. - goducks10ExplorerTimbrens are about as easy as it gets. 2 bolts per side. Airbags are harder but really more time consuming than hard.
I'd be hard pressed to pay some one $100+ to install Timbrens. It's about 10 mins if you know what you're doing. 30 if slightly confused.
Try googling up a youtube video of people installing both. - JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerMy local Tire dealer installs air bags, he is a independent dealer who does a lot of large truck tire installations so he has done many. I did my own and it was an easy 2 hour job on the dually.
- kampinguruExplorerI had mine done at American RV in Grand Rapids Michigan. they had a full shop that could do installs of hitches and suspension upgrades
- IdaDExplorerAny suspension shop could do it for you but it's a really easy job to do yourself. Especially the Timbrens - that's a 20 minute job.
