airbubble from toilet

Don't know what kind of rv you have but on my 5th wheel, the pipe has a 45 degree angle to it going to the tank. If too much toilet paper and not enough water is flushed, it gets stuck in the pipe. A full toilet bowl of water is usually all that is needed to correct the problem.

I had one like that except instead of water to correct it, it needed a little prodding.

If your tank has been emptied and still does this then suspect that you have the pyramid built up and blocking the pipe going into the tank. The vent is the last choice even with a plugged vent stack there should be enough room for the air in the pipe to be compressed into the tank unless the tank is near full.

When ours burps it is time to empty. Never rely on the tank gauges.

Alternatively your vent could be blocked too.

When mine did it the cause was the dreaded pyramid of poo. Rid x and a lot of water finally flushed it out.

When mine does that it's because the tank is too full.
