The other solution to the situation would be to park at a nearby RV park and there is one about 10 miles away. The issue with that is that these people are difficult to co ordinate with and a bit random and then we've got 3 locals going... our RV site, their cabin and the beach. 5 people in our party, 8 to 10 staying at the cabin, it's going to be chaos getting people coordinated and happy.
If we stay at the cabin, those that want to go to the lake can go and those that want to stay at the cabin can stay. As soon as we stay at the RV site, there will be a huge amount of back and forth.
We camped with them last week. Our trailer and their tent were 50 yards apart and the beach was 200 yards away and I lost count of how many trips we made back and forth to each. It was a gong show.
