The other option could be to stay at the RV campground Friday night, and then move to the cabin with your RV on saturday when you are ready.
The older I get, the more I dislike standard weekend camping. too much work for just 2 nights.
This, or take a few days for yourself at the CG, then move lock, stock and barrel over to the cabin for Saturday night. Have 'em call you when they leave their house and, if you're already hooked up at the CG, you just head out to the cabin. As it =is= family, and you normally like these people, you're SOL on not going, IMO. :-)
