First off, my guess is she has NO intention to haul that trailer. She was giving you a not so subtle ultimatum that she want's to go no matter what and that you will come to your senses and driver the Fam up there.
If this was me, I would just suck it up and do it but go up early like others have said. Bring a book and a favorite cocktail and relax!! I wish I could go up camping right now even for 1 day! It won't do you any good to upset the friends, sounds like they are selfish enough to no give 2 squirts about you anyway.
