Question.. most slides that I have seen use some area of carpet to actually slide on. It doesn't look like this is the case with your unit. Has that caused any problems? was the wood flooring scratched under the slide out?

If you look in the 5th post there is a before and after pic of the floor. You can see a long black mark on the floor from the slide. I'm not sure what the problem is but will attend to it with the slide out of the rig. I will document what I found and hopefully the fix. I don't want the slide to ruin the new floor.
In our previous TT we installed a laminate floor over the existing vynal floor. We used some of the old carpet scraps placed up side down for the slide to ride on when pulled in. I later put some felt pads that were made to put on furniture legs, under the edges of the slide in place of the carpet scraps. Worked well for us.
