I disagree. I've seen three new trailers at dealerships with a spare tire mounted, and damage from that failed tire, coming to AZ from the factory. How old were those tires? I saw a spare tire mounted on a rear bumper, under a vinyl cover, where the tire blew up on the mount as evidenced by the blown out vinyl cover. I strongly believe, like so many others, that trailer tires blow up, even when mounted only as a spare, because they are cheaply made in China. Maxxis M8008, on the other hand, is not made in China (it's made in Thailand) and has very positive reviews - that's the tire I would get if I were looking for an ST tire. My Voltage has Michelin XPS Ribs - I dumped the Chinese tires as soon as I could, cost me $2100 to do so.
