ok here is the scoop.my nephew is biggie with Discount Tire and gave the news.About a year ago Discount quit selling ST tires because of all the POS tires and complaints and very unhappy customers,so they had a meeting with all ST makers and asked who would build a good ST tire....Carlisle stepped up amd said "we would"...so new tire generation is born.,Not to say a few old style aren't around,however Discount is selling Carlisle again and it is what they suggest.I have 3 work trailers besides a 5th.Work trailers all have ST Carlisle and not a blow out in last year,and lots of milage.I do however run Ribs on my 5th wheel.FYI..
