The airlift bags have a range of 5-100 psi. 20 barely does anything compared to 65, however, it does raise the trailer to between level and 1/2" high vs. 10-20 psi has it around 1/2" low to level. Tires are LT285/75R17 Toyo Open Country ATII, load range E, so I can try going up to 80 psi.
From what other Amped owners are saying, it's virtually impossible to go light on the TW with these trailers. They are 1400 lbs unloaded and I have at least 200-300 lbs of weight in the front two storage compartments and the front 80 gallon water tank is in front of the axles with the rear 80 gallon over them, so besides fuel, the ATVs are the only thing heavy behind the axles. This past trip, I even was a litte low in fuel...about 25 gallons out of the 60 combined it holds. I will be going on an overnight trip to the first round GNCC race here in Florida this weekend. I'll load the fresh water tanks and will only be taking the sport ATV at under 400 lbs. If that makes a noticeable difference, it'll clearly be the ATVs past the rear axle. Problem is, there's no easy way to change that with the 4 barrel chairs (has the option for 2 more IPO the flip up couch/bed) unless I take them OUT then load, and put them in the back...that's a pain in the butt!
