LooseBoltsRob, I have picked up this post and have been following it with great interest. Did you ever get your sway issues fixed with your 28FS? What were your tongue weights loaded and unloaded? I have a 24FBH and have had the same sway issues as you. I have 2 2008 Polaris 800 ATV's and as soon as I try to pull the trailer with both of them in the cargo area, I am all over the road. My tow vehicle is a Dodge 3500 1 ton short box. I have tried loading the quads in every possible way (end to end, one forward and the other sideways, both sideways, etc...) and it did not make a difference. I have also filled the fresh water tank 1/3, 2/3 and full to get some weight to the front of the trailer and this too did not make a difference. The trailer pulls fine when empty, and not bad with just one quad loaded. It appears that as soon as any weight gets behind the rear axles, the trailer become very dangerous to pull. From previous posts, I too am assuming the tongue weight is too low once both my quads are loaded. I have a Reese Straitline equalizer hitch and anti-sway system. I have just ordered a tongue weight scale as well to confirm my tongue weights empty and loaded. Looking forward to hearing from you.
