Amped 28FS

Hi all, first timer looking at purchasing an Evergreen Amped 28FS with some reservation because of the short amount of time in production. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the reliability and of these units. They seem to have quality build with features that other manufacturers don't. Any info that can be shared is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  • Just the standard fiberglass. I think that front cap looks sharp but couldn't pony up for the higher price at the dealer. I have the exposed subfloor in the front as well. I plan on taking care of that this summer before hunting season comes around
  • I have one as well. About 1 month old now. I had to replace the kitchen faucet due to it not flowing enough water to ignite the water heater as well.
  • Do you have a front cap or standard laminate fiberglass exterior? I had an unfinished gap under the leading edge of the subfloor that was visible from underneath the rv?
  • Here's an update, we took delivery of a 28fs and figured it met our needs the most. We absolutely have enjoyed the room and the 2 bench dinette which you can easily access the rear ramp patio. Also how nice it tows loaded or empty. There have been a few issues that I have handled just because of it being the summer and don't want to leave it at the dealer for the next who knows how long. First trip we noticed the tankless water heater not igniting ( caused from all the faucets plugged with plastic debris) had to replace vanity faucet because I could not get it cleaned out enough. Next trip fuel leaking from under belly cover. During manufacturing screws holding the floor to the frame were driven through both fuel lines to the generator (very dangerous leak every time the generator was running). This last trip to the dunes the atv paddle tires have made indentations to the floor. Live and learn I guess we will put some sort of protection under the tires. These are small inconveniences that I will be passing on to evergreen rv but all in all a great choice for a TH
