haha first and formost I would never put a gooseneck adapter on my fifth wheel for numerous reasons, HUGE leverage point for one... on an already weak king pin support structure constructed by the RV manufacturer, they fail on their own with just the king pin I can just visualize the stress put on it with a gooseneck adapter. Secondly being a high pressure pipe welder ill tell you right now aluminium fatigues far quicker than steel and is much more susceptible to stress induced cracking when dynamically loaded I don't really care what their "crush" force shows. Ask me how many aluminium semi trailers ive fixed with superstructure cracking in the heat affected zone. To each their own for sure, but ill continue to lift my 100LB 20K fifth wheel hitch into my truck once a year and keep my piece of mind!
