Well there's more in play here than the shortbed truck Andersen is showing in the video. Different fifth wheels have different front caps which provide a greater or lesser turning diameter. There are no one size fits all. However there is one rule that is generally correct in most circumstances: Short bed trucks need a sliding hitch.
